About Jazan University

The establishment of Jazan University was one of the most remarkable academic events in 2006. A number of colleges have in fact started operation under the auspices of King Khalid University. Among those colleges was the College of Medicine in Jazan which started admitting students three years before the establishment of the university.
Jazan University rests by the Red Sea on the southwest coast of Saudi Arabia. The emergence of Jazan University was a significant further step to provide the local communities in Jazan Province with unique educational opportunities with a modern touch, and up-to-date programs using the state-ofthe- art educational technologies. Jazan University offers a number of highly demanded majors through 28 academic departments distributed in six colleges.
